Traditional sports events require not only precise preparation but also the ability to respond to unexpected challenges. Due to the planned comprehensive renovation of the stadium, which has been postponed to next year for organizational and subsidy reasons, this year's 79th edition faced significant organizational uncertainties.
However, it is with great pleasure that we can confirm that we have managed to preserve the continuity of this exceptional tournament. Our immense gratitude goes to all participating teams, who demonstrated extraordinary flexibility and adjusted their demanding summer schedules to be part of it. Their presence is a testament to the strong relationships, mutual respect, and high organizational standards that our tournament has maintained over the long term.
Thus, this year's edition will not only be a celebration of sporting determination and high-quality ice hockey, but also an ideal bridge to the groundbreaking 80th anniversary edition. We will play that milestone next year in the newly renovated stadium, featuring an exceptionally prestigious lineup that will serve as a true celebration of sports for all fans.

The Važecká jaskyňa cave, which is located on the southern edge of the village of Važec, is the most visited natural landmark of the upper Liptov region. The cave is counted among the best-known paleontological sites as far as discoveries of bones of the cave bear are concerned.

The dominant of the town Kežmarok is the Castle Kežmarský hrad that has entered the history of tourism in the High Tatras as the salient point of the first known tourist trip to this mountain range.
The local part of Spišská Belá - Strážky in the east of Slovakia today represents a complete compound of cultural and historical monuments. The manor house in Strážky is a gem of the Renaissance architecture in Slovakia.
