One day jazz festival začína tent rok s novoročnými koncertami v štyroch slovenských mestách.Predstaví sa Ruslan Sirota Trio z USA,s ktorým vystúpia už známe mena newyorskej jazzovej scény Peter Slavov kontrabas a Martin Valihora bicie.
Ruslan Sirota je klavirista a skladateľ ocenený cenou Grammy. Na otázku, ako by opísal svoju hudbu, Ruslan vrhá spýtavý pohľad. „Jazz sa stretáva so všetkým ostatným,“ hovorí so smiechom.
Klavirista a skladateľ, držiteľ ceny Grammy, Ruslan spolupracoval so smotánkou hudobného priemyslu - Kamaši Washington, Thundercat, Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, Seal, Al Jarreau a Los Angeles Philharmonic, aby sme vymenovali aspoň niektoré.
Ruslanova hrá a tvorba je veľmi prístupná svojimi melodickými a harmonickými postupmi širšiemu publiku.Peter Slavov a Martin Valihora tvoria už dlhodobo silný tandem rytmiky,ktorý ste mohli zažiť napríklad v ich ďalšom spoločnom projekte,s ktorým navštevujú Slovensko s názvom Waking Vision.
Festival štartuje 26. januára vo Veľkej sále Slovenského rozhlasu v Bratislave, kde sa po tretíkrát predstaví jedinečná izraelská speváčka a mierová aktivistka Noa (Achinoam Nini) 🌍🎤
