he village Divín is situated next to the water reservoir Ružiná in south of central Slovakia. Ruins of the medieval Divín Castle can be seen above the village.

V zrekonštruovaných priestoroch Zichyho kaštiela v Divíne sa nachádza Múzeum histórie obce Divín. V jeho expozíciách získate zhliadnete prehľad histórie, prírody a iných zaujímavostí obce Divín.
Renesančný kaštieľ, ktorý stojí pod hradným kopcom dal v roku 1670 postaviť lúpežný rytier Imrich III. Balassa . Do roku 1945 v ňom žila rodina grófa Štefana VI. Zichy. Po vojne tu sídlila Lesná správa a JRD.
Od roku 2011 do 2015 prešiel kaštieľ rozsiahlou rekonštrukciou a v súčasnosti je v ňom zriadené Múzeum histórie obce Divín, ktoré vo svojich expozíciách ponúka návštevníkom dejiny obce, hradu a kaštieľa ako aj prírodné krásy okolia Divína.
Nádvorie kaštieľa ponúka aj príjemný priestor na oddych a posedenie pri káve.
