Through Jánska valley to Svidovské saddle

You´ll start on an asphalt road behind the village of Liptovský Ján. The quality of the trail gradually decreases. More or less ascending, the route leads alongside a creek. The wonderful valley will lead you to the mountains where the trails divide. Do not turn; just go ahead along a forest path underneath Ohnište. Your eyes can admire the rocky massif on your left hand side where the famous Jánske okno (a high rocky window) is hidden over there. But it´s impossible to get there by bike. The trail wriggles in serpentines in the forest and you will continue ascending up to the Svidovské saddle. You´ll be rewarded with a splendid view.
