Salatín peak from Ludrová village...

Salatín is a little known peak of the Low Tatras near Ružomberok, where you certainly will not meet crowds of tourists. The tour starts in the village of Ludrová and continues along the green trail leading through Bohúňovo and Úplazy up the Salatín peak (1.630 m). You can return along the red trail through the narrow passage Hučiaky and then back to the village of Ludrová through the Ludrovská valley. A shorter alternative is to begin and to end in the village of Liptovská Lužná, but this variant is less attractive in term of landscape and saves only about two hours of your time.
