Along forest paths beneath Choč

The trail starts in the small village of Turík. Behind the village, the asphalt road is immersed in the forest, changing its quality, the ascents alternating even steeper ascents. During your way you can see the peak of Mt Choč as well as admire beautiful views of the valley. Gradually, an asphalt base changes into a solid gravel surface and you´re reaching the highest point of the route where starting to descend to the Lúčanská valley. At first you have nice views of Mt Choč on the left, but then you´re immersed again in the forest, and a steady descent will lead you to the finish line – an asphalt road just behind the village of Lúčky. ATTENTION! The trail is poorly marked in the terrain, and timber harvesting and transporting is in process on the side where the village of Turík is situated.
