The trail begins at the bus stop Nová Černová, but it is better to park your car at the parking place near the “Koliba u dobrého pastiera” (Good Sheppard’s Cottage) in the Čudkovská valley. From here you´ll set out on the journey along a slightly ascending asphalt road, but after a while, you leave it and turn right onto the forest logging road. First, it rises steeply, then the gradient gets lower, but you still ascent. Above the village of Černová you´ll pass a bench and a big cross, and continue in the shade of the forest below. The road goes up and down, until you reach a crossroad with a yellow sign leading you down to the mouth of the Bystrá valley. If you are tired or a storm is coming, leave your goals and run up the yellow sign downwards to the main road. If the weather is good and you feel strong, continue upwards. Leave the ascending forest path by turning right to another logging road which is less used and sometimes overgrown with grass. There are just few meters of ascending waiting for you followed by a long, long downhill ride to the Ľubochnianska valley. Here you´ll join an asphalt road and continue descending right down to the village of Ľubochňa where the trail ends. ATTENTION: It comes to poor cell phone signal on the trail in the woods or it can disappear completely. Therefore drive carefully.
