Your journey starts on an asphalt road (along Opel shop) which takes you out of Ružomberok around a beautiful church in Štiavnička. A short but steep swing up follows and the asphalt road turns into a panel one. If you manage to ride along this „shaking road“, you will enter the village of Liptovské Sliače. Cross the village and another climb will take you to the chapel above Partizánska Ľupča. Then take a short downhill ride along a gravel road and you are in the village. Here all terrain ends and the rest of the trail consists of asphalt roads. With a slight ascent along the stream cross the woods of the beautiful Ľupčianska valley which is spreading in the forests of the Low Tatras. Do not miss a bend leading to the settlement Magurka, and the next steeper climb will lead you to Železné. Here you can also enjoy beautiful views as almost everywhere in the Liptov region. The rest of the trail is flat and the town of Ružomberok is reachable from its southern part along a cycling trail.
