Bystrická magistrála
The favorite cycling route in Kysuce region is known as Bystrická cyklomagistrála and it is a part of Kysucká Cyklomagistrála which connects Krásno nad Kysucou with Nová Bystrica. It is led on the route of the former forest railway away from the main road, because of that, it is very popular among families with little kids and rollerskaters. In winter it's adjusted for cross-country skiing.
The route:
⦁ Krásno nad Kysucou (parking lot behind Vlastivedné múzeum)
⦁ continue along the red cycling sign slightly uphill until Nová Bystrica
⦁ take the same route back

Alternative extension is 30 kilometers long route around Vodné dielo Nová Bystrica (water reservoir). We only recommend it for MTB/trekking bikes though.
