Cross-country skiing trails in the meadows Kokavské lúky are among the most famous in the region Liptov. The relatively high altitude and suitable surface of the meadows below the mountain Kriváň allow the tracks to be modified even with a small amount of snow, either by scooter or snow groomer. To access here, use the exit behind the open-air museum of liptov village in Pribylina. After crossing the bridge and driving up the hill, you will come to the agriculture cooperative. You will be greeted by the wooden sculpture Anička. If the snow conditions allow, the track starts right from the parking lot.

The tracks climb very gently and are extremely suitable for learning the basics of cross-country skiing. They lead through the sun-drenched meadows, where having a little luck you can observe wildlife. In case of sufficient snow even in the forest, the track is sometimes prepared further in the direction to Kokava bridge and resort Podbanské.

The track is only allowed to enter on skis. Please leave your sledge and your pets at home. The efforts made to prepare the tracks would thus be in vain. The tracks are taken care of by volunteers from Liptov running club LBK Liptovská Kokava. You can support them with the donation to the money box or on the account displayed on the track information boards. They certainly deserve it for their determination and effort to modify the tracks immediately when the conditions change or snow falls.
