Back Dereš Basin
The zone 8 is accessible by the cableway A1 Funitel or from the south by the cableway A2 Chopok South (but there it is necessary to traverse and climb up the ridge of Dereše). From the southern side the zone is better accessible by the cableway C14 Zadné Dereše (Back Dereše).
The couloirs in the zone are mostly oriented to the north and north-west. In the area of the ridge Dereše towards Poľana the couloirs are oriented north-east. The zone is used by skiers not so often, as it is necessary to climb up to the peak Dereše to reach the access. However, the snow is better here.
Incline: In the zone the couloirs have the superelevation ranging from 250 to
350 metres and they incline within the range from 36° to 50°.
Exit from this zone is a traverse north and then east under the Dresden Rib (end of ski slope 4 Family) and then 10 Vrbická. footprint most of the cases are used.
