Tisovec (železničná stanica) - Hrdzavé - Hajnáš - Starý Tisovec - Petovcovo - Tisovec (železničná stanica)
The Circuit under Šarkanica passes through the picturesque nature of the Muran Plain, and it begins and ends in the friendly town of Tisovec. The oldest testimonies of settlement in this location are the archaeological finds on the Hradová hill, dated to the period from 1000 to 400 BC. The first known written mention of Tisovec is from the year 1334. Tisovec is connected to such famous persons as Stephen Marko Daxner, Matej Hrebenda, Theresa Vansová, Dr. Self Daxner, Vladimir Clementis and more.
The city lies at the intersection of the western and eastern part of the Slovak Ore Mountains, on the floodplain and terraced platform in the valley of Rimava. The mostly hilly to mountainous village territory on both sides of Rimava extends from the hill Klenovský Vepor to Fabová Hoľa.
