Dereš Basin
The zone 6 is accessible by the A1 Funitel cableway or from the south by the A2 Chopok South cableway. From the south it is also accessible by the cableway C14 Zadné Dereše (Back Dereše). This zone is not used by the skiers very often, to get to the zone, it is necessary to traverse along the mountain range westwards from Funitel. The access to the traverse is situated beneath the cableway A2 in the direction of Dereše.
In the area of the ridge Dereše the couloirs are oriented north-west.In the zone the couloirs have the superelevation ranging from 230 to 360 metres and they incline within the range from 35° to 51°.
Exit: The couloirs join at the cableway Dereš (C7), where the exit from the zone is found. We go northwards through the basin and connect to the slope 4 Rodinná, and 10 Vrbická.
