An easy trail for an afternoon ride

This trail is also suitable for a trip without big preparations. If you intend to reach the start line by a car and coming from the direction of Liptovský Mikuláš, don´t forget turn left in front of the village of Podtúreň, cross the railway crossing towards a game preserve and continue along an asphalt road. As soon as you pass beneath a highway bridge, you´ll come to a cemetery where you can park your car. Get onto your bike and continue along an asphalt road. Turn onto a country road after a few meters, leading to the forest. Here a short climb is waiting for you, the last one on this route. Later only undemanding, almost asphalt side routes are waiting for you. In Liptovský Peter you´ll cross the main road leading to the village of Jamník and continue undisturbed to the village of Vavrišovo. You´ll pass a cooperative farm. I write it because airmen have their home in here. The trail you will go along will occasionally change in a landing runway for power hang gliders and after watching their manoeuvres, you will certainly forgive them the unplanned delay for one or two minutes. If you´re lucky, except for your bike, you will perhaps be transported even by a hang glider. But let´s go back to our bikes´ cradles. The asphalt road snakes up alongside the fields and pastures until you see the village of Vavrišovo. A last short ride is waiting for you and you´ll reach the finish line of your undemanding and nice trip.
