The beginning of the trail is a steep ascent, later changing into a nice country road

A steep ascent along an asphalt road will test your fitness at the beginning of your tour leading above the village of Jakubovany. Fortunately, nothing lasts forever, not even this difficult section. It´ll change into a pleasant dust road with one ford of a small creek. So if you´re tired and you´ll find this route pushing you beyond your limits, don´t despair. Feel free to push your bike up at the beginning and enjoy the beautiful views of distant places with each step more and more. Later, only a flat section is waiting for you and a mild ascent, through which you´ll be guided by the hills of the West Tatras on your left hand side and of the Low Tatras on your right hand side.
