The typical village ČIČMANY surrounded by the mountains Strážovské vrchy and Malá Fatra in the southern part of the valley Rajecká dolina is famous for its original log houses with the typical white ornamentation.
Cottage MIMA is a newly built holiday cottage with a convenient location , on the outskirts of the village of Poruba , near Prievidza. The building is separate with cozy and nice furnishings , tidy in natural style . Accommodation is suitable and preferred for families with children. The capacity is 10 beds (2x 2-bed and 2x 3-bed room).
In the wide surroundings you have nature , mountains for hiking and walking . Nearby is the ski lift . In the center of the village there is a national cultural monument, which we recommend to visit: Nicholas . You are close to Bojnice , Chalmova , Cicmian , Klaku , Rajca , Rajecke Teplice , Turcianske Teplice , Harmanecke Valley , Martinske Hole . You can enjoy wellness, culture, history, but also hiking.
Guests have a social room , fully equipped kitchen for self-catering, of course there are two bathrooms with shower and bath . The centre of the southern part of Turiec is the spa Turčianske Teplice. The local hot springs were first mentioned in the 13th century. The legend has that King Sigismund of Luxembourg bathed in local springs in 1423. The town of Kremnica acquired the land with springs in 1532 and invested in construction of the first spa buildings. The spa was especially popular and visited in time of wars with the Habsburgs when the noble rebels used it as a refuge.
The facility includes eight pools that suit the needs of all kinds of visitors, with the swimming pool being the largest of them, as it is 50 metres long, 21 metres wide and 1.8 metres deep. The centre also features a car park, a wide selection of snacks, sports (beach volleyball, mini golf, table tennis and basketball) and amenities for children (a water slide, a number of slides, jungle gyms and a sand pit).

High above the village Kláštor pod Znievom in the Malá Fatra Mts. raise the ruins of the Zniev Castle. It is the second highest situated castle in Slovakia (985 m).
he Town Castle in Kremnica is part of the NBS - Museum of Coins and Medals. The castle hill is one of the locations with the earliest settlement within the town. The town castle comprises a compound of medieval buildings from the 14th through 15th centuries, protected with double fortifications to which town walls are connected. The town walls rank among the best-preserved town fortifications in Slovakia.
Mestské múzeum v Rajci sa nachádza v budove zo 17. storočia, ktorá je zapísaná v zozname národných kultúrnych pamiatok. V 19. storočí to bol jednoposchodový renesančne a barokovo upravený meštiansky dom, ktorý slúžil ako mestský pivovar.
Ruins of the Blatnický hrad Castle stand near the village Blatnica on the low but sharp limestone ridge, which separates Gaderská dolina valley from the Turčianska kotlina basin. It dates to the 13th century.
