Nature Interest
Celé územie sa vyskytuje vo flyšovom pásme, resp. na čergovsko- beskytskom flyši, pričom má veľmi pestré horninové zloženie. Geologický podklad územia obce je zložený v prevažnej časti z vápencov.
Južnú časť katastrálneho územia tvoria treťohorné šambronské vrstvy vnútrokarpatského paleogénu, ktoré vznikli vo vrchnom eocéne – drobnorytmický flyš alebo ílovce, ílolistovce v absolútnej prevahe nad pieskovcami. Korytá vodných tokov lemuje štvrtohorná svahovina v celku (nerozčlenené svahové hliny a sutiny).
Centrálnou časťou katastrálneho územia prechádza bradlové pásmo, ktoré je známe svojím pestrím zložením. Treťohorné pročsko- jarmutské súvrstvie, ktoré vzniklo v paleocéne až v strednom eocéne spolu s karbonátovým flyšom zaberá väčšinovú časť územia.
Bradlové pásmo je zložené z druhohorných vápencov. Najväčšie plochy zaberajú krinoidové vápence (vznikli v období bajok – bat), hľuznaté vápence (bat – kimeridž) a rogožnícka vrstva, ktorá je zložená z vápencov a brekcií, vznikla v období titón – berias.
Zo severozápadu na východ sa tiahne úzky pás jurských rádiolariových vápencov, ktoré sú veku kelovej – kimeridž, polyniklých zlepencov, červených a sivozelených piesčitých ílovcov paleogénu vo veku paleocén – stredný eocén. Severná časť územia je málo zložitá. Južnejšiu časť tvorí pás s pestrým súvrstvím: červené a zelené ílovce, tenkolavicové pieskovce veku stredného a spodného eocénu a ostatnú plochu zaberá spodné maľcovské súvrstvie.

Lukov - Venécia - Greek Catholic wooden church of St Cosmo and Damian
The Greek Catholic wooden church of St Cosmo and Damian from 1708 and 1709. It is the log structure consisting of three parts built on stone masonry. The architectural particularity of this church is the overhanging attic on pillars around the building. It is also the only church in Slovakia with a cellar. Baroque elements prevail in its interior. The majority of pieces in the iconostas are from the 18th century, but it also contains icons of the 16th and 17th centuries.
Hervartov – Church of St Francis of Assisi
The Roman Catholic wooden Church of St Francis of Assisi (Kostol sv. Františka z Assisi) is in 2008, along with seven wooden churches of the Slovak part of Carpathian Mountain Area, it was included on the UNESCO Word Heritage List.
Ľubovňa Castle
On a limestone cliff of 711 m over Stará Ľubovňa in the north-east of Spiš stands Ľubovňa Castle. Rulers met here in the past, it is the place where Polish coronation jewels were hidden and where famous adventurer, noble man and King of Madagascar, Móric Beňovský was imprisoned.
Ethnographic natural exposition - open-air museum in Stará Ľubovňa
The Museum of Folk Architecture, which is located at the base of the Castle Ľubovňa in northern Slovakia, represents a separate exposition. It features a set of traditional buildings from the surrounding villages, which, coupled with the Castle, gives rise to unique and highly impressive scenery.
Frička - Greek Catholic wooden church of St Michael the Archangel
The Greek Catholic wooden church of St Michael the Archangel is from the 18th century. It is a log structure consisting of three parts. Parts of iconostas are from different periods. The lavishly ornamented tsar door is the part that attracts attention. Some pictures of the iconostas are from the 19th century. The icon of Pokrova is from the end of the 18th century. The altar dates to 1716.

Museum of Folk Architecture
The Museum of Folk Architecture - Slovakia's oldest open-air museum - is located on the edge of the Bardejov Spa in north-eastern Slovakia. The museum's main sights include two wooden churches that were originally located in the village of Zboj (Orthodox) and the nearby village of Mikulášová (Greek-Catholic).
Brežany - Greek Catholic wooden church of St Lucas the Evangelist
The Greek Catholic wooden church of St Lucas the Evangelist from 1727. It consists of three parts and its architecture is atypical. This log structure bears traits of the Gothic Roman Catholic architecture. The independent tower standing apart from the nave is typical. The church is located in the historic cemetery. It is one of the oldest wooden churches in Slovakia. The main altar from 1782 is in the Baroque style. Iconostas of this church is even older (1733).
