The water reservoir is a majestic center of a nature reserve and it is no wonder that it is a popular and sought-after recreational place not only during the summer months.

In addition to swimming, you can also rent pedal boats and go on a tank tour. The water in the reservoir washes the slightly grassy banks reinforced by deciduous trees, which during shelter offer shelter from the sun's rays.

Fishermen also love this area, as the reservoir is a fishing ground. However, it is also popular with tourists, who are attracted by historical monuments - the ruins of the Ostrý Kameň castle rise above the reservoir.

You can find accommodation in a caravan park or in the surrounding cottage area with many holiday bungalows. The area is also dotted with many hiking and biking trails.
