The bobsled track is situated in the popular Demänovská valley, specifically in the Liptov village of Pavčina Lehota. The total length of the track is 1000 m and it is the steepest track in our territory, with a total elevation of 120 meters. The maximum speed that can be reached is limited to 45 km / h. The reason why the bobsleigh track in FUN PARK Žiarka is proud of its uniqueness is that the beans in which you are firmly attached are lowered on a single aluminum tube at a height of approximately one meter above the ground. You don't have to worry at all, the bobsled ride is safe and can be done by children from 7 years of age. If you have a child who has not yet reached the age of seven, it is possible to go in one bomb together but only up to the maximum allowed weight of 120 kg. There are a total of 16 curves on the track. The high attractiveness of the bobsled track is completed by 2 ramps, through which the track passes and, last but not least, 6 off-road jumps. The bobsleigh track and all its accessories are from the Austrian manufacturer BRANDAUER.

In addition to the primary function of a hotel and restaurant facility, which was partially preserved until the 1970s (the name of the company originated after 1850), the Black Eagle also served as a center of cultural life, whose significance exceeded the borders of Liptovský Mikuláš. In 1830, the history of Slovak amateur theater began to be written here, later several associations were housed in its building, including the cultural and reading association "Větín". During the May Day demonstration in 1918, the first public document by which the Slovak nation openly subscribed to the right to self-determination and to the idea of ​​Czech-Slovak reciprocity was heard in front of its participants gathered in the courtyard of the Black Eagle. The outskirts of the town of Liptovský Mikuláš are quietly guarded from the north-eastward by the hill Háj. At this place you can find the commemorative area with a cemetery and the war memorial dedicated to soldiers who were killed particularly in the spring 1945.
